Stride is a learning and rewards app for families that helps children build better money habits, develop responsibility, and learn through everyday experiences.
It starts with a habit most families know. "Buy me this. And this. And that." A child asks, and a parent says yes. Saying yes is easy, and it comes from love, or a long day, or wanting a little peace. Most of us don't notice how often. But every easy yes teaches something: money seems endless, and effort seems optional. Good things should be earned, and home is the best place to learn what money and effort are worth.
Stride makes "earn it" as easy as "yes". It turns "Can I have it?" into "What do I need to do to earn it?" In the Treat Center, you choose the treats and what each one costs in points. Your child earns those points by learning, then asks. With chores that pay, you set a reward and a due date. They mark it done, you check it, and then they're paid. Effort first, then reward.
Pocket money becomes something children can see. You record what you give, as you go or as a regular allowance. They watch it, save towards goals, and ask before they spend. Money lessons grow with them: what money is, needs and wants, earning and saving, then budgeting, banking and how interest grows, and for teens, taxes, inflation and planning ahead. Learning across 16 subjects is matched to their age, with lessons, quizzes, practice and games. Lessons earn points towards treats.
For you, family spending sits in one place: General, Kids and Personal. A monthly budget shows what you gave, spent and have left, with a copy to print. And family-only chat with voice notes, plus games and avatars, keeps it fun and close. Stride records money. It doesn't hold or move it.
